Don't remember if you paid? Just email members@BloomingtonWatercolor.org and we can tell you.
Want to pay by mail? The address is BWS, PO Box 5236, Bloomington, IN 47407-5236.
Prefer to pay in person? Just come to the meeting next Monday and bring it then.
Thanks to everyone who has retained their membership in our most worthwhile organization...one of the best in town!
Welcome
to new member Jean Vietor - glad you are here!
Congratulations and Kudos
Jeanne Iler was juried into the National Abstract Show sponsored by the Southside Art League of Indianapolis and the Garfield Park Art Center. This prestigious exhibit is scheduled at the park from September 13 through October 10. The address is 2432 Conservatory Drive; or call for directions (317) 327-7066.
Jane Jensen, as announced in the summer issue of Brushstrokes, has a permanent exhibit at the IU Credit Union. Here's a photo of Jane and the selected pieces of art.
Judi Betts Watercolor Workshop
Fourteen people attended the five day watercolor workshop the first week of August...and, boy! did we all have a great time! Judi is an excellent instructor and a peach of a gal, and brought all kinds of new ideas to the students. An added bonus for her, and for us, was that Judi and her twin sister went to IU, and Judi met her husband while they were students. So, in many ways, Judi felt right at home.
Here are a couple pictures of her as she critiques our paintings from the week, and as she opens the thank you gift we gave her - a copy of the Bloomington Sketchbook which featured paintings by several BWS members. Those in attendance at the workshop autographed their pages and Judi was thrilled!
