BWS MONTHLY MEETING
What’s your favorite work of art from 2007? Bring it along and share with the other members. Want a critique? That’s available, too.
Afterward, Carol Rhodes will present a program on 1, surfing the BloomingtonArts.info site; 2, becoming a part of BloomingtonWatercolor.org, where you can post your bio and examples of your work; and 3, taking advantage of IndianaArts.org to publicize yourself! It looks to be a most informative evening.

P.S. Please read over the minutes from the November 12 meeting which are posted on this blog. They will be up for approval at the January 14 meeting.

Election of Officers
The election took place at the November meeting, and your officers for 2008 are:

My thanks, as the new president, go out to these members who have made a commitment to keeping our organization running as smoothly as in the past three years. Many thanks also to the committee chairs who get to do most of the work!

CHRISTMAS PARTY and INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS
Many thanks to those who organized the wonderful Christmas party at tutto bène and to Marci Widen, artistic director, for her excellent choice of artistic foods! The party was well attended and a good time was had by all.

We don’t really have an installation ceremony, but Tricia Wente, outgoing president, introduced the new officers and then she was presented with a beautiful new Kolinsky #12 paint brush as a thank you for her hard work during 2007. Not only did Tricia serve as our leader, she was responsible for coordinating all activities related to the Waldron show and the Baker Gallery this year. Tricia, you’ve done a fine job, and you are definitely appreciated!
