TWIN ROCKER FIELD TRIP

Bloomington Watercolor Society

We've planned it and now it's time - the field trip to Twin Rocker Handmade Paper will take place on SATURDAY, November 1.

Want a preview? Check out their website at www.twinrocker.com

TIME: Gather at 7:15 (place to be announced), leave at 7:30 a.m. Return about 5:30 or so.

LIMIT: 25 people maximum.

COST: $9 for the tour; $10 to your driver for gas.

DETAILS: The tour includes a history of and demonstration at the facility, plus an opportunity to "put paint to paper" and experiment with the products, and a discount on products.

The owner, Kathryn Clark, is a very talented watercolor artist herself and was delighted that we were coming for a visit.

After the tour, we will have lunch at Klein Brot Haus, next to Twin Rocker.
(The restaurant's website appears to be under construction, but you can find their menu at http://cityguide.jconline.com/fe/Dining/advertisers/Klein/menu.html Yummm!)

The trip is a little over 2 hours each way.

If you would like to go but don't want to stay for lunch, there is one driver who is returning early.
One person, who lives in Columbus, is driving directly to Brookston, and has room for one person.

REGISTRATION: Email your registration soon to members@bloomingtonwatercolor.org.

Registration checks may be sent to BWS, PO Box 5236, B'ton, 47407-5236.

If you need to cancel, the deadline for a refund is October 25 - and that's the last day to register, too.

Our route is to take SR 46 WEST to Spencer, then north on 231, straight to Brookston. At SR 18, smack in the middle of Brookston at the light, turn right onto 3rd Street, cross the tracks, and Twinrocker is on the left. Simple as pie!
