Please note: Gallery North will be open on Friday, July 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Guidelines for Members
1. ONE framed watercolor per artist member.
2. Paintings must be for sale. Remember to price your work to allow for the 40% commission to Gallery North!
3. Submit paintings created without the help of an instructor and created from the artist's original reference materials. No copies of published imagery permitted.
4. Framing:
a. Paintings should be matted and framed appropriately.
b. Flat "D" hangers only. NO sawtooth or screw eye hangers are permitted.
c. Wires should be stretched tightly and attached approximately 1/3 down the vertical dimension.
d. Glass or Plexiglass, either is acceptable.
5. Content: Imagery must be suitable for public viewing in the gallery, or it will not be hung.
6. Labels:
a. Submit the form with the artist's Name, the painting's Title, and the Price clearly filled out as instructed on the form. Make sure all information forms are properly and firmly attached to the work.
b. Labels must be attached to the front and the back.
c. For a copy of the label form, email members@BloomingtonWatercolor.org.
7. Delivery of Artwork:
a. We have been asked to deliver the paintings on Friday, June 27th between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. (The gallery closes at 6:00, but someone will be there to accept paintings until 7:00.) OR you may deliver your painting on Saturday, June 28th between 11:00 a.m. and Noon.
8. Paintings, if sold, must remain on display through July 25th.
9. Reception: The reception will take place on Friday, July 11th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. during Gallery Walk. Reception coordinator is Nancy Metz. Please contact Nancy to let her know what food or wine you would like to contribute to the reception.
10. Invitations: Postcard invitations will be printed and available to the members. You will be notified by email when the postcards are ready to pick up. PLEASE tell us how many you would like by emailing the info to members@BloomingtonWatercolor.org. A large mailing will be sent using the BWS mailing list from members and the Gallery North mailing list, also.
11. Pick-up Paintings: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25th, or 11:00 a.m to Noon on Saturday, July 26th. If for some reason you cannot pick up your painting during these hours, please make arrangements with one of the officers. Gallery North does not have storage space to hold the paintings.
